About

We are Scott, Catharine, and Buddy Eshleman.  Travel has been an important part of our lives so we bought an RV an are currently traveling the country.  This site is a work in progress and intended to help friends and family keep track of our journeys.  If you would like to get emails about new posts, please subscribe to our blog at the right of this page.  We only need your name and email address.  We promise to never SPAM you.

Let’s meet the family…

Scott’s dream to travel developed early in life although wouldn’t manifest itself until adulthood. With a drivers license and a car, there wasn’t a road trip to be turned down. One time quitting his job in order to drive to Daytona Beach by himself with no directions and only the name of a hotel where friends were staying for Spring Break. After marrying Catharine, the trips became international. While mostly through cruises, the list of places visited now includes such destinations as Alaska, Hawaii, Mexico, Panama, Columbia, Spain, Italy, Greece, Turkey, India, Singapore, Hong Kong, London, Beijing, and many more. The goal is to step foot on every continent and visit every state.

Catharine has always been curious about her environment. Stories from her youngest times were of her trying to escape the crib, playpen, or time-out chair. That questioning spirit continued in college where she traveled to Russia and Egypt and hoped for a career that spanned the globe. While her final career choice of insurance didn’t lend itself to international travel, it did provide the means to vacation to interesting places. As a member of the RV family, she looks forward to meeting friendly folks and seeing this great nation of ours.

Buddy was found on the mean streets of Houston, TX at the age of 8 weeks.  Some good friends contacted Scott and Catharine who had the room and plenty of love to give.  You could say Buddy hit the “puppy lottery”.  Most common question we get is “what kind of dog is he?”  Response is usually “Spoiled,” but we don’t really know his heritage, we just say “American.  A little obit of everything.”
